You must go to http://TraumaticCinematic.com or possibly miss out on new episodes. We will be leaving PodOmatic in a month.

Breaking away from the normal routine the Traumatic Cinematic Trio felt a cleansing of the palettes was in order after the last three “Easter” films. So instead of funking up an undeserving title the guys decided to have a bit of fun. With spring comes the excitement of summer and with summer comes anticipation of the blockbuster extravaganza title for the biggest, baddest, most expensive, and most overrated. We like to call this our Super Summer Special Extravaganza. Here at Traumatic Cinematic Studios we like to pretend we are only about the underground and unheard of but fuck me if we don’t like us some eye-gouging spectacle, and the possiblity that a couple billion dollar films to fail. Hear the drool hit our desks as we discuss Man of Steel, Iron Man 3 and Guillermo del Toro’s giant fighting robot epic (and excuse for MuGumbo to make rimjob jokes), Pacific Rim. Hear the contempt creep into our voices as we discuss Bard Pitt’s I Am Legend, Too, also known as World War Z. Be as shocked as we are to discover we’re actually anticipating a Michael Bay film – Pain & Gain – his first “original” project since 2005. Can Madman Mike even direct a film without sacrificing the fond childhood memories of an entire generation to The Red God? Will the new Superman movie suck less than the last one (as it would almost have to, according to all the laws of mathematics)? Will the Fast & Furious franchise keep getting better as it goes on, in defiance of all known physical and movie laws? You better tune into this podcast because this episode is in IMax 3d Smell-O-Vision and you must listen while it is still fresh.

**** We are leaving Podomatic!!****
Please go to http://TraumaticCinematic.com for a list of new ways to listen!

Having decided to wring one more week of this sacrilegious movie shtick, the trio sits (uncomfortably) down to discuss Nude Nuns With Big Guns. Will this epic of drugs-, guns-, Catholic iconography-, and sexploitation be Traumatic Cinematic's newest, latest and greatest underrated, underground hit? Or will it be proof positive that the American independent movie scene can be just as creatively bankrupt, formulaic and infested with tone-deaf hacks as everywhere else in the entertainment industry? You be the judge! Unless you'd like to let us judge for you. Either way, listen and find salvation. -DeMoss

With Easter already in the rear-view mirror Our Trio welcomes friend of the show, verified British person, and host of the After Movie Diner, Jon Cross, into the Traumatic Cinematic fold. Together, the Fearless Foursome revert back to their childhoods and discuss the greatest religious comedy ever made by man or beast: Monty Python's The Life of Brian. Considered a sacrilegious blasphemy against (at least) two Abrahamic faiths during its initial run, Life of Brian's gone on to inspire a generation of boundary-pushers and uptight-asshole-offenders on all seven continents...as God and the Pythons intended. How's it look now that the movie's pushing thirty-five? Where does it fit into the Python Cannon? What became of Sue Jones-Davies after she helped usher an army of young comedy fans into puberty? And how long will Jon go before name-checking Bruce Campbell? Listen and find out, you primitive screwheads. But remember: "Roman's go home" is an order, so you must use the...?

We will be leaving PodOmatic soon so we beg of you to visit our website http://TraumaticCinematic.com for a list of ways to keep connected to the show and a shitload of exclusive content only available on the site.

Having survived March-ial Arts Month, the trio goes back to church and enjoys the blessings of the modern cult classic, Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. With the lesbian population of Canada slowly morphing into an army of the undead and the Church turning the other way instead of the other cheek, Our Lord and Savior must take a break from ministering to the poor and start administering some divine beat-downs to those goddamn, shit-sucking vampires. Will He Who Comes from What is Whole stop the evil machinations of the two best-named villains in the history of fiction, Johnny Golgotha and Maxine Schreck? Or will they and their ally, the fiendish Dr. Praetorius - whose mad science has granted them the power to walk in sunlight - send the Son of Man crying back home to his holy Moma? Featuring musical numbers, gangs of strident atheists and Mexico's greatest folk hero, the masked wrestling sensation known only as El Santo!

For the first time there is LOADS of exclusive content available only on our website. http://TraumaticCinematic.com

As March-ial Arts month come to a close the trio picked a modern Wushu film based on an old Wushu master, Yip Man. Legend and lore has it that Ip Man (or Yip Man) trained the kung-fu film master legend Bruce Lee and the trio delves deep into this story to see if any truth is in these rumors. Donnie Yen leads the cast in this amazing tail of action, suppression, and uprising. Join the @TCPodCast crew in their discussion and review of this semi-biographical account of Yip Man and be amazed and the skills and fighting styles the crew brings to the table. Tune in to witness Mike Wickliff's Midwestern Devastation Panda Paw Wing Chung style. Admire for the first time in 200 years Mr. DeMoss's West Coast Negative Angst Whooping Crane Bitch Slap method. And before you leave you will see for the last time performed in public MuGumBo's Flying Dragon Spinning a Yarn Eight Legged Spider Boxing style.

It has taken slightly over a year but the Traumatic Cinematic show has finally logged their 60th episode. In celebration and to keep in line with this months theme, March-ial Arts month, the trio delved deep into Takashi Miike's spaghetti western kung-fu extravaganza Sukiyaki Western Django. This is not the first nor the last Miike experience for the boys but it is the first gun slinging western. Tune in to see if Wickliff gushes all over yest another one of his own picks, listen to see if Mr. DeMoss finds something to hate about this film like all the rest, and see if Mugumbo understood any of the Engrish used in this film.
